In Norway the organisation is called SOS barnebyer. The organisation work with children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions. Every child needs a loving home to flourish in, and SOS Children's Villages help families make it happen all over the world. Families need to care for and protect their children: a loving home in a safe and supportive community. Sometimes parents are not able to care for their children alone; sometimes children lose their parents or never knew them. These are the children SOS Children's Villages help.
